For the upcoming Vintage Champs 2019, the organizers Card Titan are allowing local game stores around the country to offer Trial tournaments, where the winner can win a 1 round bye to the main event of Vintage Champs at Eternal Weekend 2019. We have reached out to some local game stores to organize some for the greater Chicagoland area, and the first one in the area will be held on Sunday September 1, 2019. This is the day after the Old School Player’s Ball 2019 (also in Chicago).
Tournament Entry and Prizes
This Vintage Champs 2019 Trial will be held on Sunday September 1, 2019 in Evanston, IL (on the far north side of Chicago).
– Tournament start time is 11:00am sharp (doors will open at 10:30am, please arrive by 10:45am to check in, get set up, and do card signing).
– Tournament structure and length will depend on number of participants on game day.
– Prizes will include a Vintage Champs 2019 1 round bye for first place, as well as other Vintage staples, signed by all tournament participants. This will be a fairly low cost event, and will not include a large cash payout.
– Entrance Fee will be determined soon (but will likely be in the realm of $15-20).
