After a number of years of hosting the annual Vintage Champs and Legacy Champs at a dedicated “Eternal Weekend,” this year marked the creation of Modern Champs as another marquee event on the community calendar, thanks to organizer Nick Coss and the tremendous Card Titan staff.
84 players were registered for this year’s introductory tournament, and after accounting for 6 no shows, there were 82 players battling for a deep prize pool. This meant there would be 7 rounds of Swiss, followed by a Top 8 playoff.
