LOTP Team Tactical 2

The Lords of the Pit are proud to announce LOTP Team Tactical 2, a charity Magic event in Chicago (date TBD, sometime 2019Q4). This is a team event featuring Vintage, Old School 93-94, and Middle School (3 person teams, with one deck per format per team).

Tournament Entry and Prizes

The Lords of the Pit Team Tactical 2 event will be held on Saturday (date TBD and updated here).
Tournament start time is 12:00pm sharp (please arrive by 11:45am to check in, get set up, and do card signing).
Tournament structure and length is TBD, and will be either be SWISS+1 (5 or 6 rounds total, depending on number of players), or SWISS PLUS TOP 2 PLAYOFF (top 2 teams at end of SWISS). There will be no draws allowed, and at the end of 50 minutes if there is a tied match both players will go to 5 extra turns, and then dice will be rolled to determine a winner. We came to game, not draw. Play a fun deck, imbibe, and have a blast with friends new and old!
Prizes will again be awarded by the Lords of the Pit. Please bring an English language black bordered staple/playable card to contribute if you’d like (or alternatively, you may want to have everyone sign one card from your deck that day as your personal trophy). At this event and going forward there will also be special prizes awarded for Most Creative Decks, and other special achievements.
Tournament entry fee will be one (1) new toy, with tag or package still intact (suggested value $10-20). The charity that Chicago Old School will once again be helping is Cornerstorne Community Outreach (CCO). All toys collected will be donated to CCO for distribution to those children less fortunate. Do not forget this, or you will not be admitted.
